cyber cafe licence

what are the criteria to apply for cyber cafe licence and what are the requirements?please also mention the

backlocks .

Hello.

You need to ensure of the details mentioned as under :

This license shall be for a period of 1 year and can be further continued, subject to renewal thereof by the Licensing Authority.

The application for a Premises License in new Form 'DD-5'.

The fee for the grant of Premises License for Cyber Caf� and Computer and/or Virtual Reality Games shall be as follows : No. of Personal Computers/ Machines (1)

License fee for 1 years

(2)

Upto 10 units

From 11 to 20 units

More than 20 units

Rs. 2000/-

Rs. 3000/-

Rs. 5000/-

Hours of performance: - Cyber Caf�, Computer and/or Virtual Reality game shall operate between 0800 hrs. to 2300 hrs. only.

SPECIAL RULES FOR CYBER CAF�, COMPUTER AND / OR VIRTUAL REALITY GAME

Personal Identification

Every visitor to a Cyber Caf� is required to produce any authentic photo-id card.

Every licensed Cyber Caf� be required to maintain a physical log of users to be filled in by the user itself as stated in Form-M.

Physical Layout

All Cyber Caf�s that have cubicles or partition be required to ensure that minors are not allowed to use machines in cubicles or behind partitions.

All 'open' machines must face 'outward', i.e., must be facing the common open space of the Cyber Caf�.

Partition if any installed/built inside the Cyber Caf� shall not exceed four and half feet in height from the ground level.

A board viewing 'Pornography site is not allowed' should be prominently displayed in the Cyber Caf�.

Software - All 'open' machines to which minors are restricted be equipped with suitable safety software to restrict access to pornography
