Sir,

As per your little information, the only thing i could say is there as occured no cause of action for u to file any suit of complaint, since the lottery company only declared u the winner and asked u to deposite money. You cannot go with a presumption about fraud untill and unless the same has been acted upon.

But I would insist you not to make or participate on any such wagering. And more over if u think of fraud, the only thing u could do is to inform the same to the police or appropriate authority nearer to you. SO that if at all there is any racket the same can be exposed.

You may lodge a complaint in the local police station, as the offence of cheating has been committed at your end, hence the indian courts have jurisidiction in the instant matter.But you must save the transaction in your computor,and also keep a printout of the same.Rajendra Babbar, Advocate.

This kind of frauds are going on around the world specially from some African countries. You should contact your local police with all the documents you have. Often police warns about these mails. YOu can checkout on CBI website, Canadian and British police websites for more details on these emails/letters.

First of all you change your e-mail option showing full header of the mail which you have received. After that save the e-mail in a specific place so that you can use it otherwise it will be wased out as it might be junk e-mail.

you may also complaint and in the mean time dont send any information about yourself & money.
