Legal Question in Consumer Law in India
I have got notice from lawyer saying non payment of internet bills, saying i have never responded to there response. The fact is iam staying in same place , never got any intimation or any calls from the ineternet providers. Also am not aware what am due for. i have stopped using the internet connection cause of poor service and speed. I have even complained about the poor service to there main office vai email. Now the notice is saying you to pay the said sum in 7 days or you will face criminal/civil charges. How i can deal this in consumer court. Iam sure i have paid them all dues till usage. Even there people came unistalled the equipment and said nothing about any dues.
Thanks Sudhesh Nair

It appears you are being harassed by the service provider without reason. You should file a consumer case against them.

Try to weigh your options keeping in mind the amount being demanded from you. litigation may also be costly and time consuming.
you can reply to the legal notice putting forth your defence
