Re: cheque bounce

You may initiate civil and criminal proceedings against the drawer.

Before you decide to initiate criminal proceedings under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, you will need to give a statutory notice to the drawer demanding payment of the cheque amount.

A civil suit for recovery may also be filed simultaneously.

Re: cheque bounce

You contact the person initially and try to settle out of the courts if possible. If he is reluctant then initiate s.138 proceedings against him.Well it takes time,it cannot be solved like what you mentioned ASAP.
