Is consummation of marriage a mandatory clause for filing mutual consent divorce under Hindu Marriage Act?

yes. it is mandatory to mention in the petition of divorce by mutual consent that the marriage was duly consummated.

If Marriage is not consummated ,then also you can file a petition for Mutual Consent Divorce by mentioning that it is not consummated.

No Consummation of marriage is not necessary. Only thing to be mentioned is marriage was duly solemnized. Consummation is not necessary
