Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am a keralite. I got married to a guy on 27.08.2006. From day 1 I have been abused humiliated by his family members. My gold & everything is with his mother. They black mailed my family and me and made us sign a paper stating that we have recd gold. After that he took me to gulf. He also started showing mental problems. My dad and I took him to a reputed hospital where we found out that he has bi polar personality. His treatment started but he stopped taking medicines when I got pregnant. (He used to force me)Later I found out that he is having an illegal relationship with his sister in law. His entire family knows about this and they are ok with this. I informed my father about the situation. My dad confronted him and he agreed to cut all his relation with this woman. I left Gulf when I was 2 � months pregnant. He came to Kerala when I was 5 months pregnant and told me that if I want him to accept me and my baby then I should accept his relationship with his SIl. I refused and he left.
When my baby was 10 months old he issued me a court order to go back to his house. We filed for divorce and restitution. When my baby was 3 years old he demanded custody of my child. My baby is not a shy type. Is there anything I can do to stop him? Please help.
