Legal Question in Family Law in India
Property In My Name
Married under Hindu Law and now in a bitterly contested divorce in India. Have a property in my name which the husband is laying claim to. He does not contribute anything to it and also does not pay for the child for the last many years. Can the house in my sole name ( even if not in India) be free of his claims as Istri Dhan? There is lots of blackmail and harassment by the husband too. I am a working woman bringing up my child alone. He is a good for nothing rich spoilt man in India.
