Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
Hello,
I live in Mumbai. My aunt is threatening me that she will sue me. I and herself were in business. It was a proprietary concern. I am the owner. But she has invested some money inthe company. Which she has a proof. Without my knowledge she has discounted so many cheques received from the customers. I have a proof for it . Innate also refunded the money to the customers. She has eaten more money than she has invested. Now she is threatening me that she would contest in the court . Can she claim anything.

she can at the most file a suit for recovery and you may defend the same by filing proofs of payments made to her.

on the contrary u can file a case of fraud against her as she discounted cheques of your company without your knowledge inspite u have criminal case against her so u need to relax
