A person has signed (witnessed) in the registry of the other person and after a period of time the first person is saying that he has done the signature but he was not aware of what was written in the registry. Can this be granted?

Dear Sir / Madam,
(Ashutosh Nagar, Dehradun, Uttarakhand)
In common parlance, the Registrar specifically asks the witness whether he / she has read the contents and understood the same before signing. In normal circumstances, this leave /excuse is not granted.
