Legal Question in Intellectual Property in India
When I was in defence a plot was purchased by me and transferred to parents as I was away from site due to regular postings.Now my father build a house on the same site and spend approx.Rs.50 lakhs.The present cost of land is 1.5 crore excluding construction.My father want to give equal share to my brother even he has not contibuted in this.Is he legally eligible to get his share or not?

You have not mentioned the way how you transferred the plot into your parents name,was it through a gift deed or a sale deed.If it was thro. a sale deed then you have forfeited your rights in the plot.So your father would be able to do as per his wish.If the transfer of the plot was done in any other ways then there are so many options to solve your problem.But the bottom line is that your bro.won't have any legality to acquire the property.
