Legal Question in Employment Law in India
i am an accused (A3) in 498a/dp3&4. now i joined a private sector bank . in the column where it is asked if there are any criminal cases pending on me i answered "NO'. but the fact is the case was lodged in may 2010, and igot Anticipatory bail from high court, with a direction to surrender in lower court . the lower court granted me bail on a bail bond of Rs 20000/- and also orderd me to sign in local police station regularly for a week as i have passed dirty comments on my sister in law. i signed. a chargesheet was filed in feb 2011. in april 2011 i joined the bank and in the column where it is asked if there are any criminal cases pending on me i answered "NO'. so if bank gets to know i have criminal case pending , will i loose my job?
