Legal Question in Employment Law in India
We are testing and inspection company in India and periodically required to work at different factories. As per the minimum wages notification in west bengal we belong to the "not covered by notification"category and abide by the minimum wages declared for the same. All our employees are covered under our Head office rolls at kolkata. We are now carrying out stack monitoring job in a chemical factory in west bengal where we work for about 7 to 10 days in a month. The minimum wages applicable to the said chemical industry is different . Are we required to pay the min wages applicable to that industry to our company employees?

No, You can pay the wages as applicable to your company since the work is of a small duration.
