Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
Hi,
I have to rent my house (in Bangalore, India) to a couple who want to have both their names on the rent agreement to claim HRA. How will the lease agreement be made?
Thanks,
Prashant

There should be no dificulty in including both of them as tenants, jointly and/or severally.

The agreement will be made same way as is made for a single tenant; you may obtain a draft from the local deed-writers or refer to a law book on "conveyancing".
