Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

We are 3 brothers and 1 sister. In 2002, I paid and bought this property under my mother's name(now deceased). Before buying, I checked with my brothers and sister and they told me that they have no objection and they have no interest in this property. One of my brother has already given in writing relinquishing his rights in this property. The other brother who gave his verbal agreement and have an email to that effect and now going back on his words. Now this brother and the sister are demanding their share just because it is in my mother's name. I paid the entire amount for this property and have cancelled cheques to prove it. Do they have legal claim over this property? Any advise in this matter is highly appreciated.

Hello,

As per law if he property is in the name of your mother, it have to be divided with all legal heirs.

As per the circumstances you have to establish the case, and a lawyer after reviewing your all documents can suggest properly.

You have a written consent from brother, what about sister, do you have any consent form her ?

Why did you bought property in your mother name ?

why, dint you made proper legal written relinquishment from all siblings ?
