Beer shop in society

One of shop owner has asked for NOC for opening beer shop in one of the shop which are part of society. We have rejected his application. Now local police is harrasing us to give NOC. Want to know how we can prevent opening of wine shop in our society.

You should write to higher officials in the police department and bring to their notice about the harrassment by local police department.

You may approact higher authority regarding the atrocities of the police or you may file a complaint before the local magistrate.

Police have no role about issuance of NoC by Society or otherwise. Since act of police in harassing society people for NoC is illegal, take-up the same with higher authorities of police and even Home Dept.

Since Society has already rejected NoC, it is for the Member to approach the appropriate authorities like DDR or Co-op. Court for necessary orders.

You need to chalk out this very simple strategy to protect your interest.
