i have a lease agreement which has been expired and my tenant has stopped paying the rent and is not willing to vacate and i have filed the case 1 yr ago but the case gets pending everytime? can you please help me how much time does it take to get my land clean, its a commercial shop and the rent has always been taken by mode of cheq

It is procedural aspect no one can say at what exact time you get. But if your attorney tried you can soon. However you can get up to date rents from your tenant till you get possession.

Total time required in Court proceedings are difficult to guess.

However, if you and your counsel rigorously follow the matter, the suit may be disposed of in about 2 years in view of various provisions of CPC.
