Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

i have purchased a home two years ago now some people came and said there was a mortgage on this property when we visited bank they told us owner was gauranter for this loan and we have original papers. And at the time of purchasing owner gave us duplicate copy telling us that he missed the papers somewhere please advise

If the seller had deceived you, You have a right to recover your consideration paid to him for the fraud by misrepresentation he committed. Consult a lawyer with all documents.

It is ALWAYS preferable to get title deed scrutinized by a lawyer before lifetime earnings are invested in purchase of property. It is best to protect buyer's rights and prevent loss of lifetime earnings.
