Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in India

Dear Sir,

Myself Begum. I belog to Salem in Tamil Nadu. At present working in Mumbai as Chemical Engineer and living with my husband. I have a serious issue which I don�t know how to handle. I got married in March 2011. Before I got married my parents were looking for lot of alliance for me. They fixed a guy name �Abbas� for me. The parents of that guy told that Abbas is working in Dubai and he have done his MBA. Later after 4-5 days we came to know that Abbas have not done any studies, he have completed only 12 std and working in Dubai. As I am Chemical Engineer, I was not willing to marry a guy who have not done even UG course. I was continuously refusing to my parents that I don�t want to marry this person. But Abbas sister�s continuously called my parents via phone and they fixed everything starting from Engagement date to marriage date. Even I started to speak to that Guy via phone and mail, but each and every time I had the same feeling that Abbas is not good guy more that his entire family is lying to get me married to him. I completely refused my parents that I won�t marry him. When my parents told this to that guy�s home they fought with us and cursed us. After that his family started disturbing me by saying wrong things about me to the alliance who come to see me. At last my marriage got fixed in Aug 2010. Abbas somehow got my husband�s number and he called him and say very wrong things about me. My husband didn�t believe anything and finally we got married in March 2011. We both are living very happily. My husband was also working in Dubai. After marriage I too went to Dubai and someday I saw that Abbas in a shopping complex. I showed him to my husband. He too had a look on both of us. As I got job in Mumbai we both shifted to Mumbai in Oct 2011. Our problem started then after.

Abbas have messaged me in my Facebook stating in very bad manner �Hi Darling, You are very sweet�. I replied to his message that if he messaged me hereafter I�ll complaint to police. Then he started messaging my husband in facebook that I am not a good girl. I already had a lover. My husband too replied him that he too will complaint to police if he message my husband. After that Abbas have hacked my Gmail ID and My husband Gmail ID. He took lot of chats which I chatted with my friend and he have pasted it in My husband�s facebook. He is continuously disturbing me and my husband by doing these kind of things. Though my husband is very nice person and he don�t believe these saying, we both feel disturbed as he do something each and every time.

Kindly please advice me what I can do now. I wish to complaint to police as I have his messages and his IP address which have opened my Gmail ID from Dubai as proof to show to police. But I afraid that if again he start giving very serious problem, what can I do. Shall myself and my husband leave this as it is. Eventhough for the last message which was sent before 2 months we didn�t reply anything. But again after 2 months, yesterday he had sent message again stating that I am not good girl and all these.

1. As this guy is in Dubai and his family is staying nearby distance to my home in Tamil Nadu, shall we take this issue to his parents? And warn them that we will complaint about his son to Dubai police by submitting these proof?

2. Or shall we leave this issue as it is and not to reply his message?

3. Or shall we speak to our family friend who is working as assistant commissioner of police in tamil nadu and inform him with the proof that Abbas is harassing me?

Kindly please advise what we can do.
