Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in India

Dear Sirs

B goes to A, Mr. Sanjay for professional advice and B expresses her inability to pay and A tries to pull B closer and tries to kiss her. B runs away. Can B sue A and under what offence.

Dear Pal,

Please note that you may seek remedy vide Section 354 of IPC which reads as

Section 354. Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty

Whoever assaults or uses criminal force to any woman, intending to outrage or knowing it to be likely that he will thereby outrage her modesty, shall be punished with impris�onment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.
