Father's property after his death
Who will be owner of the property if in case father dies without making will even in case mother still alive.

Hello.
If the father dies without a will then the property will go to his wife i.e. the mother and she can take the decisions further.

The inheriance issue will be governed in terms of Sections 8 to 13 of the Hindu Succession Act. The Class I heirs mentioned in the schedule inherits equally; and if there is no Class I heir, the Class II heirs will inherit to the exclusion of others in the order of sequence.

Mother and children's share equally i.e mother 50% and children 50% of the property.
