Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India
I am a Mahant of temple. I want to make a power of attorney in favor of my wife. Can I do. Can my wife perform seva pooja of murti (Statue) ? Can any female do seva pooja of Murti (Satue of the temple) ?

Firstly make your wife Chela/Cheli as it customary law which governs the Pooja of Deity. Now-a-days it is immaterial whether female is performing pooja or male except a custom to the contrary is established in the court. Otherwise by giving power of attorney- where are you going- renouncing the world - taking sanyas- a worldly death? These things have to be kept in mind.
