Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India
We are three sisters. My father in his will, has divided his owned property to two daughters since one daughter passed away. So no share for the daughter who passed away.
But can her son claim the share of his mother who passed away although she has no share.

in case the property held by father was his self acquired property, the son of deceased daughter cannot claim a share but if the property was ancestral and joint, the son of deceased daughter has an equal share and the will would just pertain to the share of father.
