Legal Question in Business Law in Indiana

I am located in Indiana and I was hired a an independent contractor to do welding services for a company that had a project in Indiana, but their headquartered in Wisconsin. I work for then for a total of 37 hours, I stopped work because the first invoices was not paid on the agreed time and I told them I would resume work when I received payment. I was told it was to be over knighted (never happened), told it was in the mail (never happened), told it was sent down with some employees, but then payment was stopped for unsatisfactory work. I am a small local (out of your garage welder) and now they are saying they never received a W9 (which was emailed to them) and a certificate of insurance which was never asked for when I was hired (and as a small business I do not have insurance) They owe me $1110, do I have a case to take them to small claims?

Yes. It's worth pursuing. That's how Trump treated his contractors----and people actually voted for him!!!
