Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Indiana
Failure to protect
My exboyfriend was arrested for kidnapping my son and I. He was released on bond and a no contact order. He kept calling and emailing me and the prosecuter refused to pick him back up. Then it happened again, he broke in my house and raped me. I was wnting to know if I can file a lawsuit against them for failure to protect.

Re: Failure to protect
Prosecutors are immune from a civil suit. It does not sound like you contacted the police who might not be completely immune. You would do better to contact an attorney and give them the details. E-mail is not really good for details.
