Legal Question in Consumer Law in Indiana
We were late paying our HOA fees, We paid the amount due in June instead of Jan. because of other financial difficulties. We mailed the check on June 25th they filed court papers on July 2 cashed the check on July 25th. now they say we owe an additional 359.00 which includes $10.00 late fee. $99.00 court fee and 250 attorney fee. I agree with the 10.00. What can I do?

Can you prove that you sent the check on June 25? If you can prove that they received it before July 2, you have a decent argument to waive the $99 fee. There are insufficient facts to comment on the rest of the submission.
