Legal Question in Consumer Law in Indiana
Truck Purchase
I recently purchased what I thought was a 1942 Ford pickup. Upon closer inspection during tear down for restoration purposed, I discovered the VIN number did not match the Title and the truck is actually a 1946. Do I have any legal recourse here? The seller was a private party.

Re: Truck Purchase
Sounds like you did not purchase what you thought you were purchasing, and maybe the seller did not sell you what he thought he was selling. Your first step should be discussing this with the seller. You should also consider what your damages are, if any. Is a 1942 worth more or less than a 1946?
