disability being sued

i am being taken to small claims court and sued i am on disability and have no money other than that and my house can they take either

Your disabilty payments are exempt from attachment if you keep them segregated, that is, put them in an account that contains only your disabilty monies.

They can get a judgement whcih may attach to your home depending on how it is titled and how much equity you have. Are you married? Is your home jointly owned with your spouse? is she on the debt too? all these questions are reklevant to whether or not your home is protected from a jufgement creditor
