Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

Disconnection of services not paid for

Just as a utility company disconnects services not paid for are independant business owners legally able to take back what has been done, yet not paid for? In this instance we drilled a water well for a home and installed a pump & tank. Fearing they may file bankruptcy before a small claims court date, can we go to the home and take our stuff back and plug the well?

Do not do that. You could open yourself up to a variety of claims (including criminal trespass).
