Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana
What Is Considered A Felony Charge
When you are looking at being charged with a felony because of (Receiving stolen property)..... Doesn't the property have to be over $300.00 in value for it to be considered a Felony charge in the state of Indiana?? I guess, my question would be, isn't there a value limit set before it is considered a felony charge?

Re: What Is Considered A Felony Charge
The answer is no. You may be thinking of some other state where that distiction is made. In Indiana, the value does not determine the felony status. So long as the item taken satisifys the defeinition of the offense, that is all that is needed no matter if $1.00 or $1,000,000.00
