Your new wife is not a replacement parent and she does not have any rights. Details about watching the child worked out first with the child's mother, and in accordance with the custody provisions of your divorce decree. If the mother has no objection to the stepmother watching the child, then there is no problem. This is something that mature adults should be able to work out politely and rationally without a lawyer.
