Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana

I was ordered to pay child support and I am unable to get a job at this time. Can I have the support suspended or stopped until I am able to get a job so I don't get farther behind in my support. I don't mind paying the back support but I don't want to go to jail because I am unable to get a job at this time?

You can ask the judge to reduce your support, and as long as the loss of job wasn't your fault, you should get some relief.
