Legal Question in Employment Law in Indiana

I am in the middle of an EEO case against the Department of the Navy. I was given a Request for Production. They are asking for copy of my 2010 tax return and they want each and every health provider whom I have consulted since 1993. I think this is outrageous, I started working for the Department of the Navy in July of 2007. What kind of privacy do I have on my tax return and any doctor appointments since 1993.

Because you have active litigation, it would be inappropriate for me to opine on pending discovery requests. I do not know the nature of your claim(s) or, really, anything about your case. Having said that, it does sound like the Navy is overreaching and I suspect the Requests can be resisted in part.
