Legal Question in Employment Law in Indiana

I was terminated from my job...as a cashier..supposedly the register was coming up short..ive worked for years as a cashier...as i tried to explain to my GM I was uncomfortable with other people getting im my drawer..nothing was done about it...i had two coworkers getting on my register...nobody else was wrote up or terminated...the night manager would take my drawer...lock herself in the office and supposedly count it down..if it was my drawer legally shouldnt i be the one counting it down...after they let me go...she hired her daughter .
