Legal Question in Employment Law in Indiana
I work for a non-profit and we have two hourly employees, me being one. Our board of directors has decided to close our office during Christmas break for 4 days. They are either forcing us to take vacation or to be unpaid. I was wondering if this is legal, as it doesn't seem right that they can force us to choose one or the other. Please help. Thank you!

The Board gets to select the hours you work at all times. They can't make you take this as vacation. All they can do is not pay you. If you want to be paid, you can CHOOSE to take vacation days.
