Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Indiana

Malpractice

The short version: I was mis diagnosed and told i had 4 buldged discs and a pinched nerve and was put on meds that caused me to lose two jobs just to find out there were no buldged disc or nerve damage and now i addicted to the meds and the ave posibly damaged my body. it has caused me to go into deep depresion. this was done at the VA

The questions in medical malpractice are: 1) did the doctor who misdiagnosed you act in a way that was negligient....below what a reasonably competent physician would have done? 2) If so, did his or her negligience direcctly cause you injury? 3) If so, how significant was the harm?

I typically do not take medical malpractice cases unless the harm is permanent and extremely significant. The reason for this is that med mal cases are terribly expensive (paying doctors to review files and testify) and very difficult to win.
