Legal Question in Personal Injury in Indiana

i injured my back at work. workmens comp just released me and their doctors say im at maximum medical improvement and issued me a PPI rating. workmens comp wants to settle for $6900. im only 40 years old. i can never work again doing what i was doing not to mention the toll this has taken on EVERYTHING in my personal life. if it werent for my employers unsafe working conditions and negligence, i would still be me. i know IN law states i cannot sue the actual company for lost wages, pain & suffering, etc., but can i file a third party suit against the owner of the company?
