Legal Question in Personal Injury in Indiana
Hello,
I live across from a corn grain bin that's full of corn, to keep the corn dry this business runs 5-6, eight foot tall industrial fans. The problem is these big fans are so loud that it actually vibrates my whole house. I have to sleep in my living room because its entirely too loud in the bedroom, and I've had migraines ever since I moved here which was about 6 years ago. I've heard there's nothing I can do because of something called "Grand Father Law" where the business was there before I moved here, so I guess that means they can do whatever they want?
Yet I've also heard that my living conditions are unacceptable and the business would have to buy my property, I don't know what to believe.
Can you help me?
Thanks,

Assuming no local ordinance, you "came to the nuisance" and there is nothing you can do. That is, you chose to live next to this facility, probably because of cheaper land prices.
