Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

There was a gift bought for a friend and I (a pair of cellphones), and now the man who bought them for us is threatening a theft charge unless he gets the phones back. We were under his contract, but he bought the phones for us. Is that legal?

If you can show that his intent was to provide a gift, you will be fine. Otherwise, you wont be.
