Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

I live in a mobile home park where there is a lake it has been flooding in my county wear I live . if the lake floods and destroys my property can I file a law suit? because they have been ask to drain the man made lake but have not

You could, but it would cost you more than it’s worth. They have to be asked by a government body first.
