Sexual Harassment of Minor

A situation occured where the employer of a buisness cornered his 15 year old female employee, grabbed her by the shoulders, and asked her if he could kiss her. she declined and since he began treating her in a very rude and unprofessional manner. is this a lawsuit case or can anything be done in this situation?

Depending on the size of the employer, a claim could be brought for sexual harassment. Regardless of size, the employer can be sued for sexual assault. I have handled several cases of this type and would be happy to discuss the matter further if you wish to contact me.

There are two aspects to this matter. First of all, his actions were criminal. Plain and simple case of assault, indeed, one could make out a case of sexual assault. Secondly, there is indeed a civil case possible. There can be a state case filed (battery), and probably (I'd need more info) a federal case under Title VII.
