Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Indiana

i went to gas station to make purchase for gas and was sexual harrassed by an employee, i went to enter the store and was greeted at the door by employer, he opened the door and refused to let me by unless i gave him a hug, i refused and demand service i came for....this has happened on several occassions, there has been sexual comments made unprofessially, im tired of going to a suppose to be a business and being harrassed, are seeing someone else being harrassed and degrated by what is suppose to be a business

The laws that I work with place an obligation on employers to protect their employees from sexual harassment. Because you are not employed by this gas station, those laws probably do not protect you. As for common law tort liability, I don't see any unless something more has happened in terms of physical contact besides a request for a hug (which you rejected). If I were you, I would find someplace else to purchase gas and/or automotive services.
