Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

Pre-marital agreement

If my future spouse and I fillout a pre-nup form that we bought online, do we HAVE to have a lawyer reviw it to be enforceable, or can we each just consider that good enough for the time being? We've used lawyers for various things, but if we aren't legally required to use a lawyer that's what we'd like to know here. What risks are involved in such a situation?

The real question is if you understand what the 'off the rack' prenuptial agreement means. If you don't, it's best to have it reviewed by a professional.

Before anything else, thanks for writing me at LawGuru.com

In a prenuptial you ALWAYS must contact a local Attorney. It's a contract. Online forms sometimes contains different applicable law.

Any doubt or another question, let me know it please.
