Legal Question in Immigration Law in Iowa
If an american citizen get\'s married outside of US and wants to bring the spouse back to america can he or she make the petition in that country or need to came back to the US and go thru the proses in the states.

If you are a US citizen residing abroad, then yes, if the US consulate in that country accepts immediate relative petitions. You may check it with the Consulate and on their website.
Otherwise, you have to file it in USA with the USCIS.
