Legal Question in Immigration Law in Iowa
My husband is being detained by ins when he has a bond put on him how long do i get to pay it?

If and when the immigration judge makes decision about the bond in his case, you will have as long as he is being detained (weeks or months), or until the last immigration court hearing, or until he is removed/deported from USA.
If you don't pay the bond, he will remain in ICE custody as long as it requires to complete his case in immigration court. Then, he will be either released (if judge grants him some relief) or deported (if judge finds him deportable).
You shall consult or hire an immigration attorney in your city and State.
