Legal Question in Immigration Law in Iowa
Immigration of my mom and brother
Hi, I am a new US citizen who is interested in sponsoring my mom. I have been told that is a fairly simple process. I am curious about my brother who is 18 years old. Can he immigrate with her since he is under the age of 21 or do I have to file for him separately? If I have to file separately, how long will his wait time be to gain residency? Thanks.

You will have to file for your brother (that petition will take several years). Alternatively, your parents can file for your brother once they receive their green cards.
