Legal Question in Immigration Law in Iowa

I am an international student on an f-1 visa and was recently charged with a simple misdemeanor for drug paraphernalia. I have an attorney and the case will be expunged in 12 months. I have to pay a fine and do community service. Will I have trouble reentering the US before my record is expunged? Will I have trouble applying for a new f-1 visa for grad school?
