Legal Question in Employment Law in Iowa

Hello,I'm receiving short term disability at this time.Sun Life Assurance is the company my employer has for their disability carrier. Child Support sent Sun Life a income with holding order. Sun Life sent the intire amount of my check to them and has told me that they sent the the check to my address but I have not receivied any check.It has been five days now from the time they sent the check.I believe they sent the intire amount to Child Support because I checked the Child Support payment web site and there was the intire amount the Sun Life was to have payed to me.Is it legal for them to take more than half of that amount? Thank you, Jeff in Iowa needing your help.

If you had any arrearage it is quite possible the CSRU took the entire amount. If you did not have arrearage the payor probably made a mistake. The hard part is proving it.
