Does having a verbal agreement between a tenant and a landlord permisable in court

If there is NO WRITTEN agreement (lease) that Bars oral agreements, then YES, you can bring in evidence of oral agreements, and be sure to bring in any evidence which backs up the oral agreements, like cancelled checks or PAID receipts etc.
