Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas
I was charged and pled guilty to misdemeanor A non person theft in Atchison 2 months ago. I had not been in trouble before. The restitution at the time was $700, but they have them 30 more days to turn final amount in. I.was already placed on unsupervised probation with $590 in costs.
The new amount is $3100, half of it it BS, meaning stuff I never saw. I agree with first amount. My question is, can I charged again, this time being a felony? This is all in municipal court at the time.
Thank you. Really worried.

Contact the attorney that represented you in the case asap. If you went in without counsel, consult directly with a criminal defense attorney, in your area, very soon. There isn't enough information provided here to determine your options. You need counsel specific to the particular facts of your situation.
