Legal Question in Criminal Law in Kansas
My girlfriend is looking to enroll in an EMT course. She has to take a background check for it. She had a domestic battery two years ago and needs to get it expunged to take the course. How long does the expungment process take? Is there a way to speed up that process?

Two years is usually not long enough to have most convictions expunged. She might have to get the case reopened, and ended again without the same conviction. But, that can get expensive
Good luck
